Over the weekend we headed to Ohio to check out a new state park near Geneva on the Lake–more about that to come on Thursday. This trip was touring-lite so we had more time to keep the campfire stoked–which was a good plan given the windy and chilly days–and try out several new campfire recipes, including a couple Pinterest finds. The first one I’ll feature is a little twist on the traditional s’more: the cookie s’more.
For this treat you’ll need:
- Fudge-stripped cookies
This really doesn’t need a tutorial. Roast the marshmallow to your liking, then smoosh it between two yummy cookies. Wah lah! Although it was tasty, I’m still partial to the traditional s’more, but with a large group this version is probably less expensive since you don’t have to add in chocolate.
